Forgotten Peoples
Who Are We?

The Southwest Area Cluster (SWAC) is the southernmost portion of the Central, Eastern and Southern Africa (CESA) Region.  CESA is one of the regions of the world as defined by the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.  The SWAC is located in southwestern South Africa (includes the Eastern, Western, and Northern Cape Provinces), all of Namibia, and a slice of Angola on its Southern border with Namibia.

Our mission and vision

Our desire in the SWAC is that everyone will see the glory of God by hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a culturally appropriate and understandable context with an opportunity to respond and to be partners in a sustainable and reproducible church planting movement.
